Conor & I long shared a dream of investing in a vacation rental home. When we decided to take the leap in 2018, the Tennessee Smokies quickly sprung to mind. We love that the area provides something for everyone year-round, regardless of age, physical ability, or interests. We purchased Soakin' in the Smokies in 2018 and the rest soon followed.

After watching our business grow and succeed for two years, Ali's mom purchased her first vacation rental home, Beachfire Bungalow, on the shores of Lake Norman in Mooresville, NC. We added the bungalow to the Pine & Palm family and are managing it on her behalf. Unlike our cabins, we live just a few minutes away from the Bungalow.

Conor is a commercial airline pilot and I, Ali, am a stay-at-home mom to our two kids and lovable lab, Smoky. We live just north of Charlotte, North Carolina; an easy 4 hour drive from the cabins. Ali is the primary manager of our properties and handles all guest communication while Conor takes care of things behind the scenes.
​We have an A+ team of locals to handle the maintenance and housekeeping but otherwise manage the properties entirely ourselves. Guests can expect prompt, personal attention throughout the rental process. We have high standards and desire all of our guests to have the BEST stay at our homes! It is an honor to host your vacations and we look forward to the opportunity to welcome you as our guests.
